Zesty Sausage and Pepper Dip
16 ounce package of regular pork sausage,
1 large onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper
1/4 cup pickled jalapeno (from a jar or can), or 1-2 whole fresh
1 package cream cheese
1/2 cup pickled yellow pepper rings (from a jar), drained and chopped – I’ve also used the pepperocini peppers.
1. In skillet, cook sausage, onion, red bell pepper and jalapeno peppers over medium-high heat.
3. Reduce heat to medium.
4. Stir in cream cheese.
5. Cook and stir. Cook and stir. Cook and stir for 5-8 minutes.
6. Stir in banana peppers.
7. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
